At Linate and Malpensa Airports, as in others in Italy, the Sala Amica provides
reception and rest services at the moment of arrival or departure. The disabled
passenger must indicate his/her presence and needs on board when booking the
ticket. An assistant will meet him/her at the airport and accompany him/her
to the Sala Amica, provide assistance while waiting to board and with boarding
and disembarking procedures.
It is advisable to check-in at least one hour before departure time for domestic
flights, one and a half hours before for international flights, two hours before
for inter-continental flights.
Check-in can be made directly in the Sala Amica.
Wheel chairs are carried free of charge. It is loaded into the hold and airline
wheel-chairs are used for boarding and landing. Batteries for electric wheel
chairs must be dry and disconnected. Disabled passengers are the first to board
and the last to disembark.
